Abstract: The radio coverage for two maritime distress communication systems are calculated for those U.S. Coast Guard stations in the contiguous United States. The two systems are: the international MF distress channel and the international VHF distress channel. The predicted coverage for each station is shown as a contour drawn on a map background.
