Terrain Effects on Antenna Radiation Patterns. Part I: Mapping Irregular Terrain
Janet E. Herman; Randolph H. Ott
Abstract: A numerical technique for mapping irregular terrain is described. The input data are fitted with a finite series of Gaussian functions, and a computer program evaluates the unknown constants in the functions. Two numerical examples are considered, which demonstrate the usefulness of the method.
