Abstract: The 1999 International Symposium on Advanced Radio Technologies will focus on state-of-the-art and future trends in satellite communication technologies and applications. ession presentations by leading experts in satellite communications from government, industry, and academia will be followed by forward-looking open round table discussions on future directions in technologies and related issues. An interactive dialogue with the audience is desired where symposium participants are encouraged to share their ideas and opinions on relevant technologies and future trends.
